Still Chippin’ Away

Still Chippin’ Away

Sorry, the website is still the same. I have worked up a new (and very simple) layout on Canva but I am waiting to complete my headshot before I make any attempt to embedded it here. Once it’s in, I’ll be jazzing up the other pages a bit as well. Yes, I’m slow A.F.!!

Speaking of headshots, we’re all squared away with our photo shoot (my wife is getting one as well for her LinkedIn profile) at the end of February so I’m still on track with that. Incidentally, if you live in the NH Seacoast area or the North Shore area of MA, and you’re in the market for a photographer, I highly recommend her. Check her out at Sunshine White Photography.

I’m still nervous about putting myself out there in regards to the Voiceover avenue. I’ve got all the gear I need to get started in the shopping cart at Sweetwater but I’m reluctant to hit the purchase button. No reason to feel that way really. If I read too much into it my line of thinking is that maybe it’s the universe telling me to wait. However if I continue to wait, I’ll end up waiting myself to death. I will admit, it’s probably just fear of the unknown. Or that I don’t like spending money. Yeah, could be that.

I didn’t have any luck finding a new exec to pitch to on Stage32 this week. I’m waiting for someone that, well for one, is interested in my genre and two, also has some past experience in unscripted. I’ll be patient, it worked for me the last time. I’m not being completely lax on the project though. I’ve had the project on the TV Writers Vault for a couple of years now with some interest from Neon TV, Manville Media and Innovative Artists but nothing further than that. After rewriting my pitch and changing the title utilizing the feedback I received from Stage32, I decided to renew my membership (for only six months this time) and I’ll upload the updated pitch to see what happens. Wish me luck!

Be well and I’ll talk to you soon!
