The End

As the title of this blog implies, this is the end. Not of the website or any of my aspirations to be a writer, voiceover artist, etc. but of this website in its current form and the current blog. I may blog in the future and, if so, the content will reflect something helpful in relation to the new direction of my website. I know, I don’t even have to write this but, what the hell.

Since I’ve started, I’ll just keep going. I met with the Talent Manager about the Beyond the Smoke project and he wanted to send it out to producers to see if we can’t get it made. Since that meeting, we met again and went over my Pitch Deck for the project and made some changes. Now, he’s making a list of the producers he thinks might be interested in the project and will send the Deck out to them. At this point, it’s a waiting game and we’ll see if there’s any interest. If there is, we’ll pick a producer (if there’s more than one) and we’ll work on a pitching plan and schedule meetings with studios to pitch the project to. I am excited to say the least however, I’m currently “cautiously optimistic” as there are still many major hurdles to overcome to get this project to the screen. Having said that, I have overcome some big hurdles just to get it to this point. Either way, I think it’s a win.

Voiceover profile has been started on ACX and I’ve been perusing auditions to see what’s out there and also checking out work from other Artists on the platform. Voiceover booth is just about done, just have to reattach some of the pesky acoustic tiles that aren’t interested in sticking to the ceiling. I’ll be revving up the recording system to make some demo reels and posting them on ACX as well as some casting sites. Here goes nothing.

As I noted at the beginning of this blog, the website will be updated to fall in line with some branding and I’ll be uploading the Voiceover demo reels to the site. I’m shooting for the first of May to get it done.

So, I bid you all adieu.
